Haha. I found this on Blaugh this morning. I was "forced" to use Dial-up during the summer when I was at my grandparents house. Well I wasn't forced, it was either Dial-up or no internet at all.

I feel your pain!!

Dial up sucks.. but its better than nothing.. So while I am stuck in Saudi for my short break.. I will be stuck using it..

They don't have broadband in Saudi? Ouch. You think in such a advanced country, they'd have broadband.

Gah! Even the slightest mention of dial up makes my inner computer geek shudder. I can't imagine going back to that.

They do have broadband in saudi.. buts the rates are really high. If I wanted a connection I would have to pay 45 dollars
for a 512 kb conection. But now i'm back in India where I have a nice 1 mb connection.. :)
